Every business understands how easy it is to “run up” large legal fees.  While Cooper Simon does not offer legal services, the firm helps clients negotiate with law firms, manage the time spent by law firms on client issues, and review the appropriateness of law firm bills.  

 

For example, a client involved in a case moving to the Supreme Court faced legal fees of many hundreds of thousands of dollars…or more.  The client retained Mr. Cooper, not to provide legal services or to “second guess” the client’s existing counsel…but to manage the time spent by the client’s counsel and to advise the client on which work products were necessary to advance the case and which were not.  The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the client.
